Yesterday was quite the surprise.  Tim Challies was kind enough to link to a post I wrote about sin and the Tim Bosma tragedy.  I sure wasn’t expecting it, nor was I expecting the thousands of people who came to visit the blog because of his link.   All I can say is WOW!  God sure has given Tim a great deal of influence.  I am glad he uses this influence for the betterment of the Church instead of for controversy and self-promotion.  If you happen to be one of those individuals that popped by because of his link, and you are still hanging around, I officially welcome you.  Feel free to stick around and enjoy yourself.  I don’t mind at all.  For your enjoyment I have taken the liberty of assembling some posts that might be of interest to you.

The teen department has been ramping up for its trip to Darien Lake in New York.  As you can imagine this makes for one busy and fun filled week. It has also means that I haven’t been paying as close attention to updating Tipping Sacred Cow as I should.  I tend to think I know myself pretty well.  For example, I know that if I do not set an “update schedule” I will not be as consistent posting as I would like.  Therefore, I propose to update the site twice a week (Mondays & Fridays).  Given I will be in New York this Friday, I will be implementing my proposed schedule next week.  God willing you will see me consistently updating Tipping Sacred Cows twice a week.  God bless.

 

I apologize for the recent lack of posts.  There are two very good reasons for my temporary neglect.  My first excuse reason is as simple as it is common; I live a very busy life and blogging by necessity must take a backseat to other priorities.  My second excuse reason is likely of more interest to those of you actually looking forward to more posts.  The other reason for my lack of posts is I have been working behind the scenes to produce a little surprise for everyone.  A surprise you say?  Yes a surprise.  Hopefully it will be completed and ready for tomorrow.  Keep your fingers crossed and check back tomorrow.
